
Douglas graduated from the University of Papua New Guinea with a Bachelor of Laws. In 2017, he graduated from the Legal Training Institute and he was admitted to practice law in the
National and Supreme Courts of Papua New Guinea. Since then, Douglas has been practicing as a litigation lawyer in the Supreme and National Courts as well as the District Court.
Douglas has experience in civil litigation in the District, National and Supreme Courts in areas of Administrative Law, Election Petition, Tort, Human Rights Law, Contracts, Labour & Industrial Disputes, Will, Probate & Administration, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Land Law.
